They were used as a distraction as if they were the only
Jewish in this village, because the whole village was like Kipuz (a Jewish
farming community), but in reality they wanted everyone to think that everyone
is Jewish escaping the Nazis since the second world war in 1940s. Because
they all were drug farmers in a small village called Al-Mazeh/Mazee by Kiwani
just 2-5 km west of Damascus. Right by the train tracks and train export
station, and next to the hospital where Fareed Kheir alias George W. Bush and
I were operated on. In opposite house lived an old man called Abo-Abass which
they claimed to be crazy and next to the houses of an old Jewish couple (name
forgotten), Bdewee and Kellani families who also where drug farmers and our
house which was rented of the family Casey/Qaisi. |
